Your work will include asset management, content ideation, editing within Premiere, participating in the review process, and providing final assets. THE JOB: Contract Social Media Video Editorĭo you know how to create compelling and snackable videos that stand out on social media? Do you create your own video content for the latest social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, and others), staying up to date on the latest social video trends? Excellent social media and digital literacy, particularly online video, and video production. Self-motivated, proactive problem solver who is detail-oriented and independent with a strong track record of cross-team collaboration. Must be able to balance and prioritize concurrent assignments in a fast-paced environment that flexes to the fluid nature of digital programming. Basic understanding of analytics and interest in using data to make content decisions. Proficient knowledge of media formats, edit workflows and industry standard support tools. Experience working with digital video at the brand/publishing. Communicate assignment updates to Producer and Strategy partners and collaborate on new creative ideas. Adhere to technical SOPs and deliver masters to spec with associate metadata. ![]() Create vertical and/or square versions from 16x9 sequences. Self-manage projects asset acquisition from the cloud archive and maintain organized project structures. Utilize analytics to maximize revenue opportunities. Work in a cloud-based system to edit scene lifts, cutdowns and compilations from linear program masters (audio stems, texted program, textless clips). Create short form video content for AVOD platforms (Snapchat and YouTube).
